Cryptozoology
Although the existences of these mysterious animals are hotly debated (and continuously so), at the very least, one can state that the fantastic subjects of Cryptozoology are the modern equivalent of our ancestor's beasts from myth and legend. Although it would be magnificent to find a real Sasquatch alive and well in the American wilderness, for now that's how we're treating these 'Cryptids' in our gallery; from the world famous to the obscure, and even confirmed hoaxes that are still fun to read about and draw. And even the ones that turn out to be very real...I'm looking at you, Giant Squid! **
